Sister dearest i love you, i love you with all my heart

But when you leave and hurt us, i don't know where to start

I know that we fight and say things we don't mean

But i guess that is what it is like being a teen



Sister dearest you are the most beautiful thing to me ever

We watched each other grow, watched each new burden we had to bear

We watched each other grow through the rain and sadness, this is how we turned out after all this madness



But when you leave, it's as if some one has died

Why am i the one stuck here watching every tear my mother has cried?



I say i love you, and you say it back

Loving your family is one thing that you lack

When you are nice, and you care

You and that comb make a perfect pair



If i could do one thing, i would pray

Pray to bring you home so that we could mess around and play



Sister dearest you stress me out

One thing i always want to do is pout

But underneath it all, i love you deeply

Even though a moutain i sheer, i will climb it slow and steeply



Sister dearest won't you stay?

I guess i will leave you alone and let the chips fall where they may

But let me tell you on thing, my heart is forever broken, the tears my mother has cried is what i am soaked in



But i still love you

I will always honor what you do

I will always watch you with careful eyes

I will always watch you up until the day one of us dies.
